1998 came new ownership again and is under a new name, Sandpiper Pet Hotel. Sandpiper sits on an acre and a half overlooking the ocean. All of our spacious dog runs are 30 feet long 5 feet wide indoor / outdoor with ocean views. We have 4 large sand play areas, a grooming room with state of the art grooming equipment, A professional and caring staff living on site with over 27 years animal care experience. A commercial landmark in the heart of Malibu since 1948, Sandpiper Kennels was built as a show kennel for Airdale Terriers. After changing ownership in the late sixties, Sandpiper opened to the public as a boarding facility.
